Freshman Orientation is a two-day overnight program required of all new students. Your college of enrollment is responsible for assisting you in selecting your orientation date. Students who paid their confirmation fee and completed all the requirements set by their college on the New Student Checklist can select their Orientation date.
Freshman Orientation will take place in June or July. International students will have additional dates available in August.
Please Note: Once you have paid your enrollment confirmation fee, it can take a few days before you will have access to your New Student Checklist.
By participating in Freshman Orientation you will:
- Learn about important campus resources available to you
- Develop an understanding of your college’s academic expectations
- Register for courses
- Become familiar with the University Student Learning and Development Outcomes
