New Student Convocation is a lively event that welcomes first-year students to campus. It includes a welcome from President Bruininks and current students, free dinner, music, and an introduction to University of Minnesota history and tradition. Celebrating the start of their college career, Convocation ushers new students into the University of Minnesota community.
Beginning Fall 2008, Convocation will kick-off Welcome Week! First-Year students in the Class of 2012 will receive more information in the mail about this and other first-year initiatives in early 2008.
