Your Health & Wellness
Free Flu Vaccinations Available
Be a part of history! On October 28, Boynton Health Service will help the University of Minnesota set the world record for most flu shots given in a single work day. Mark your calendars–we’ll need your help to break the record of 3,271!

Free flu shots will be offered at four locations from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on

Your Finances
Additional Financial Aid for Fall or Spring Semester
Do you still need financial aid for fall 2008? If you have not filled out a 2008-2009 FAFSA, it's not too late. Fill it out as soon as possible so you receive your financial aid in time for fall bill due dates.  You can fill out your FAFSA at www.fafsa.ed.gov.

If you have not yet received your financial aid for fall, want to check your financial aid status, have questions on bill due dates and deadlines, or are looking for other financial aid resources please visit One Stop at www.onestop.umn.edu.

Stretching Your Dollar
Did you know that October is financial literacy month? Celebrate each week with quizzes, prizes, and knowledge on the One Stop website.  Learn new ways to stretch your dollar, spend responsibly, and manage your finances by visiting the Money Management section of the One Stop website.

Mid-Semester Academic Workshops

Use Graduation Planner to explore and plan for Spring Semester
You’ll be preparing for spring registration over the next several weeks. You can use Graduation Planner to explore majors and to choose courses that will help you stay on track to meet your goals. Look for New Involvement Opportunities with Engage search!
Now that you are settled in with your class routine, be sure to check out opportunities to get involved on campus or in your community.  Use Engage search! To find something that fits your major, personal interests or something that just sounds fun.  Talk to your friends, residence hall staff, advisers, career counselors or faculty about ways to get engaged at the University of Minnesota.
