International Students

The University of Minnesota uses the following definition of "International Student":

International students are those who are planning to attend the University of Minnesota on a non-immigrant visa (i.e., F-1, J-1 or H-4). This term does not apply to permanent residents, asylees or refugees.

Often International Students have additional requirements that must be met in order to attend the U of M. For more information, click here.
