Request for Proposals for 2017-18 Funding from the International Student Academic Services Fee – due February 10

University of Minnesota Twin Cities international undergraduate students are assessed a fee for international student academic services. The resources generated from the fee are used to enhance academic services for international students, with the focus of ensuring retention, timely graduation, and student satisfaction with their University of Minnesota experience.

Since the fee was implemented in 2013-14, numerous projects supporting international students have received funding. Abstracts of funded activities can be referenced here.

Call for proposals for funding for 2017-18 activities is now available. Information about the fee process can be found here. To submit a proposal click here. Units may submit multiple requests, but must use a separate online submission for each project. Requests are due February 10. If you have specific questions about funding levels as you develop your proposal, please email for further information.

We will be hosting an information session on Tuesday, January 10 from 1:00-2:30 p.m. in 518/520 Bruininks Hall. We will provide an overview of the fee and answers about potential ideas for projects. Please RSVP now.
