University of Minnesota Driven to Discover
Orientation & First-Year Programs (OFYP)

Greetings Campus Partners,

This summer, Orientation & First-Year Programs will host its annual Orientation Resource Fairs to familiarize new students and their families with different University services and resources. Past participants know the Resource Fairs are successful for everyone involved. Students and parents are thrilled to have their questions answered and learn about many of the exciting opportunities at the U of M.

In an effort to reach a majority of first-year students and family members, the Resource Fairs will occur during Orientation Check-In of the freshmen and transfer Orientation programs. Event dates, times, and the Resource Fair guidelines can be found in the registration link and below. We expect participants to be present at both freshmen and transfer programs. As always, if you choose to participate in the Resource Fairs, your attendance is expected at every session. Promoting a consistent message to all students and families is very important.

We invite you to participate by setting up a visually appealing and engaging display and sending a representative to present information about your organization, department, or service and to answer questions. Orientation & First-Year Programs will have signage for all participating campus partners. We also encourage you to bring informational handouts, brochures, and giveaways for students and families; everyone loves a bag of free goodies!

If you are interested in participating, complete the registration form no later than Friday, April 28. ${l://SurveyLink?d=Start HERE to register and learn more.}
