Checking-In for Orientation
International Students are required to check-in for Orientation between 8:30-9:00 a.m. Orientation & First-Year Programs works closely with International Student Scholar Services to provide a special orientation program just for you. You will move between the special International Student Orientation program and the general Freshman Orientation Program. Your first session will begin at 9:05 a.m. No late check-ins will be allowed.

Arriving at Orientation
For directions and parking information, go to www.ofyp.umn.edu/directions.
Due to multiple construction projects on and around campus, please follow the directions listed on the above Website. DO NOT USE GPS DIRECTIONS, as these routes will be incorrect. Please also allow extra time in getting to campus, as traffic congestion around campus may be significant. After parking in the East River Road Garage, head to Coffman Union's ground floor for Orientation check-in.

Will a parent or guest accompany you to Orientation? If so, parents and guests are encouraged to register in advance for the Parent Orientation program. For more information and registration, go to: www.ofyp.umn.edu/fyparentregistration.
