Congratulations on your acceptance to the University of Minnesota and on your decision to join the Class of 2019! Although your orientation is not until summer, we want to make sure all of your questions get answered and that you keep up with all deadlines and expectations from the University.
Your New Student Checklist & Orientation
Starting April 1 you will be able to access your New Student Checklist which will allow you to complete the Tell Us About Yourself survey, select an Orientation date, and begin placement testing. It will also list any other college-specific tasks to prepare you for Orientation and the start of academic year. To access your New Student Checklist click here.
Orientation is a two-day program required of all new students. You will learn about University Resources, experience a required night in a residence hall, meet with an academic adviser, and register for fall classes.
