%%First Name%%: Spring semester is in full swing! We hope that you have had a smooth transition back to campus and that you are making the most of the new semester. Now that you are halfway through your first year, here are some resources that can be helpful as you plan for your future. From finding your major, to considering living in another country, to exploring post-graduation possibilities, all of these resources can help you stay organized and set both long-term and short-term goals.
Finding and declaring a major is no small task, and that is why the U offers the Major/Minor Expo. This is a great way for students to explore majors and minors that interest them. This event occurs February 24 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. in the Great Hall of Coffman Memorial Union.
Job & Internship Fair
It’s never too early to start exploring post-graduation possibilities. Consider attending the Job and Internship Fair on Friday, February 19 to talk with prospective employers, and you can even get a FREE professional headshot photo when you register. The fair is located at the Minneapolis Convention Center and runs from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Be sure to register online by February 12 (TODAY!) to take advantage of the $10 fee (covers lunch, professional head shot, and transportation).
