Believe it or not, it’s time for first-year students to start thinking about housing for the next academic year. Use the resources below to learn some facts and tips.
First-Year Only Physical Education (PE) Classes
Interested in developing the knowledge, skills, and confidence to enjoy a lifetime of healthy physical activity? Consider registering for a PE class! There are over 25 topics available Spring Semester, and some even have seats reserved specifically for first-year students!
Get the Student Perspective on College Majors
Are there some college majors here at the U that you want to know more about? Sign up for the Center for Academic Planning & Exploration’s Major Network. At this event, you can connect with upperclassmen that will answer your questions about why they chose their major, their career aspirations, internship experiences, and more.
Queer Life at the U of M
Sign up for the GLBTA Programs Office Listserv. This program will help you stay up-to-date with events, make connections, and find information on volunteer and job opportunities. It even has information about some scholarships! Visit the homepage to sign up.
First-Year Free Ticket
Don’t forget that Northrop is still offering one FREE dance event ticket to all new freshmen! Pick any dance season event you would like to attend and then reserve your ticket in person at the Northrop Box Office. Remember that the last event is April 27, so the last day to reserve your ticket is April 26.
