Check the U Libraries for Your Course Readings
We know textbooks can be expensive. In partnership with the University Bookstores, the University Libraries have created a list of textbooks held in the ebook collections. You can use these as your primary text, in case you want to leave your book at home or get an extra hour to do some reading. Want to learn how to save more money through Library resources? Managing Your Time and Assignments
If time management is one of your goals for the semester, check out the Assignment Calculator on the University of Minnesota Libraries website. If you enter assignment information (e.g. research paper, speech, lab report, video, poster, etc.), the calculator will give you a timeline and necessary steps. You can also sign up for email reminders. This is a great way to plan your time this semester.
Study Spaces at Northrop
Looking for a place to grab a coffee and study on campus? Northrop also has plenty of quiet study spaces and is home to Surdyk's Café where you can get some coffee.
Women’s Center Study/Lounge grand opening
Check out the Women’s Center Study/Lounge Grand Opening in 65 Appleby Hall from 12-1 p.m. September 15! Learn about resources and scholarships as well as involvement opportunities with the student volunteer program – the Feminist Ambassador Brigade (FAB). Enjoy treats and enter to win a door prize!
Campus Zone Pass
If you ride the light rail exclusively on campus, the Campus Zone Pass is perfect for you. It allows you to ride between the three campus light rail stops on the Metro Green Line – West Bank, East Bank, and Stadium Village – without paying a fare. U of M Foundation Student Call Center
The U of M Foundation Student Call Center is hiring U of M students for on-campus jobs with flexible schedules. Call alumni and friends of the U to raise money for university programs. Click here to learn more and apply!

The Raptor Center
Established in 1974 as part of the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine, The Raptor Center:
- Rehabilitates about 800 sick and injured raptors each year.
- Helps to identify emerging environmental issues related to raptor health and populations.
- Trains veterinary students and veterinarians from around the world to become future leaders in raptor medicine and conservation.
- Provides public education programs and events.

Lavender Welcome and Kick Off with the GLBTA Programs Office

Parent and Family Weekend

Student Tickets at Northrop
Northrop is a hub for creativity and exploration on campus! U of M students get $10 student rush tickets to all Northrop Dance Season events and other discounts (based on availability) to other events! There are tons of free and fun events happening, so check the website to keep up to date on all that's happening at Northrop!
Did you know that the Gophers won nine conference championships and three NCAA championships last year? As a student, you have the chance to see some of the best college student-athletes in the country right in your own back yard. Luckily for you, all Gopher sporting events other than football, men's basketball, and men's hockey are free. Just show your U-Card for admission.
