Arriving at Orientation
Check-In for Orientation is located on the ground floor of Coffman Memorial Union. For directions and parking information, go to www.ofyp.umn.edu/directions. Please follow the directions listed on the above website. DO NOT USE GPS DIRECTIONS, as these routes will be incorrect. Please allow plenty of time for getting to campus, as traffic congestion around campus can happen.
After parking in the East River Road Garage, take the elevator to Level 1/Plaza Level. Then follow the signs to Coffman Union's ground floor for Orientation Check-In.

Parent Orientation is a half-day program.

Students will finish with advising and registration at different times, depending on their college of enrollment and academic program. Some students may finish as early as 11:30 a.m., others may not be done until later in the afternoon.

On-campus lodging is available at Yudof Residence Hall. The rate is $35 for one person, per night; and $70 for two people, per night including tax. You will be able to check into your room at 2:00 p.m., or earlier if your room is ready. Your room will have basic amenities such as linens and towels. To make your reservation, visit here. If you will be staying overnight on campus, please leave your luggage in your vehicle (if possible) until you can check into your room.
