Hello %%NAME_FIRST%%,

Welcome! The University of Minnesota is excited to welcome you to campus this fall! One of the best things about the University is all of the opportunities for students and that includes unique transfer engagement initiatives.

One of these initiatives is the chance to live in the Leaders in Transition Living Learning Community (LLC). The Leaders in Transition LLC gives students the opportunity to explore and develop their own leadership potential while living and learning with an intimate community of peers who also have transferred into the University.

But wait: It gets even better! Beyond the opportunity to live with other transfer students who are going through similar transitions, and the chance to learn about your personal leadership style, these students get to live in the University’s newest residence hall – 17th Ave Residence Hall!

Would you like to be a part of this wonderful community? If so, you need to fill out a supplemental application here and you will also be required to sign up for Personal Leadership in the University (OLPD 1301W) for the fall semester. The application deadline for this LLC is July 2. There is limited space available, so apply soon!

If you have any questions or want more information, please contact t transfer@umn.edu. We look forward to seeing your application. Enjoy the rest of your summer!
