Hello %%First Name%%!

We hope the first few days of classes have gone smoothly and you are starting to feel at home at the U. Here are a few notes and updates to help you kick off your Transfer Student Experience!

Free U of M Transfers T-Shirt
If you weren't able to grab your Transfer T-shirt at Transfer Welcome Days, stop by the Orientation & First-Year Programs Office in Coffman Room 315 and pick yours up!

Transfer Student Network
The Transfer Student Network (TSN) is a peer-to-peer program that pairs you with a TSN Mentor (a current transfer student) during your first semester on campus. Your TSN Mentor can be a go-to person to help you adjust to your new home. TSN also offers social gatherings, workshops, and discussions about the transition process to the U. Interested in signing up? Tell us about yourself HERE so we can match you with a Peer Guide!

Transfer Welcome Days Evaluation
For those of you who joined us for Transfer Welcome Days, we had a blast getting to know you and spending time with you. Your feedback is important to us as we continue to enhance and improve the program for future Gophers. Please complete the following TWD evaluation and be entered to win a gift card for the U of M Bookstore!

TSE Monthly
Part of your Transfer Student Experience (TSE) includes an email once a month that includes need-to-know information that will help you with your transition. You will learn about important and timely resources throughout the semester. Be sure to read the email: It will include announcements about events and information about drawings for prizes.

Here’s to having the best year ever!

In Gopher pride,

Chelsea Garcia
