Hello %%First Name%%!

The Transfer Student Ambassadors and I really enjoyed connecting with you during your Transfer Orientation program. Now that you have completed your Orientation, we want to share some fun and exciting initiatives that are available to you as a new transfer student.

Transfer Welcome Days
Transfer Welcome Days should be on your radar and hopefully you have reserved your spot for these action-packed four days! Learn more about the TWD schedule and register HERE.

TSN Hangout
Looking to meet new transfer students, play games, and enjoy food? Join us at the TSN Hangout in Goldy's Gameroom! We will have bowling, billiards, video games, and free food! Check our website for the date!

Leadership Class: Finding You at the U!
All transfer students are invited to take the Leadership Minor's course Personal Leadership in the University (LEAD 1961W) for this Fall semester. This course fulfills a writing intensive requirement, allows you to build community with a small group of peers, and helps you understand your own personal leadership. Check out this short video to hear from students about their experience in the course and learn more about the many benefits of this class.

Transfer Student Network
Each month, you will receive an email from your Transfer Insider (a current transfer student) with some insider tips and advice about the transfer transition process. Meet with your Transfer Insider for a coffee chat, where you can connect with them and enjoy a free Starbucks drink! Be on the lookout for your first email in September.

Transfer Workshop Series
Join us for the Transfer Workshop Series, a mini-workshop series on Fridays to help you learn more about your University, your peers, and yourself!

Make the most of your time at the U by engaging with these initiatives and more.

In Gopher pride,

Stephanie Ryan
