The afternoon Welcome Event will take place at TCF Bank Stadium in the DQ Club Room beginning at 1:00 p.m.

1:00-2:00 p.m. Check-in at TCF Bank Stadium (Follow signs to
Premium Entrance under Benton County marquee)
Tours of TCF Bank Stadium
T-Shirt Swap
Refreshments
Department tabling
2:00-2:30 p.m. Official Welcome
2:30-3:30 p.m.  Departure for Explore-U: Explore ways to get involved at this event showcasing campus student organizations and local businesses, while enjoying giveaways, food samples, and prizes at Mariucci Arena!

Parking

If you are driving to campus, please plan ahead and provide extra time getting to campus. There are multiple construction projects taking place on and around campus.

Parking is available in the East River Road Garage for a daily weekend rate of $6.00. Take the elevator to Level 1/Plaza Level and follow signs to the Stadium.

What to bring:

  • A gently used T-shirt from your old school to swap for a new U of M shirt!
  • Backpack or bag for goodies collected at Explore-U
  • $6.00 for parking
  • Comfortable clothing and shoes
  • Umbrella in case of rain
