Hello %%First Name%%!
I hope your first few weeks at the U are going great and that you are staying warm these past few days! Something to look forward to, according to Siri, it is suppose to warm up a bit this week, yay!
Of course Siri isn’t always right, especially when it comes to the weather. But one thing I dread more than the cold is midterm week. If you’re like me, you are probably preparing for your midterms now and are probably a bit overwhelmed. The last thing you need is stressing out about getting to your midterms on time. If you are in a large class that’s more geared towards lecture, such as chemistry, you are probably in a different location for your exams. I personally have a Genetics exam on Wednesday and my exam is scheduled in St. Paul. I have never been to the St. Paul campus before and it is definitely a worry for me. So here are some resources to navigate the U, relieve the stress, and also stay warm!
As you can see, the U offers many resources to help you get from place to place. This of course does not just apply to getting around campus, but also off! I have taken the light rail multiple times to the Mall of America. It is so easy and simple, I bet my bank account wishes it was a little bit harder to get to.
Again, if you did not catch my first email, my name is Ernie and I will be your Transfer Insider. I am here to be a source of support and help in your transition here at the U. I would love to meet you for a free coffee chat sometime. My office hour is every Monday from 10 am - 11am.
