We hope Transfer Welcome Days will help you feel a greater sense of belonging and give you the opportunity to make new connections with other students and the U of M campus.

6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Meet-Up and Tailgate
Meet up with the Transfer Student Ambassadors and new transfer students before the big game against TCU.
8:00 p.m. Minnesota vs. TCU Football Game
New first-year students can attend for free!
12:30 - 3:45 p.m. CBS Transfer Student Welcome
At this event, College of Biological Sciences transfer students will meet one another, connect with faculty, and learn about key campus resources.
3:30 - 4:30 p.m. Check-In
Use your U Card to officially check in to the Transfer Welcome Days (TWD) program and receive a free T-shirt, the program schedule, and a water bottle.
4:30 - 5:00 p.m. TWD Kickoff
TWD Kickoff is the ceremonial start to the Transfer Welcome Days program.
5:00 - 6:15 p.m. Pieces of the Puzzle
Enjoy a live presentation performed by current U of M students that discusses some important topics that affect all college students.
6:15 - 8:00 p.m. The Insider's Guide to the U of M
Hear the stories from current transfer students about life on campus as a Gopher. Plus, share a meal with your group at an an on-campus favorite restaurant. 
8:00 - 10:00 p.m. TWD Hangout
Stop by and hang out with new and current transfer students.
10 p.m. - 1 a.m. Student Unions & Activities Showcase
Conclude the evening at the Student Unions & Activities Showcase and take part in a dance party, hypnotist, concert, movie screening, games, prizes, free food, and so much more!
8:45-10:30 a.m. Check-In
Use your U Card ID to officially check in to the Transfer Welcome Days (TWD) Saturday programming.
10:35 - 11:20 p.m. Live Like a Student
This session will discuss budgeting, student loans, credit cards, free and low-cost activities, valuable resources for managing your finances, and tools to help you find a job on campus.
11:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., 12:15 - 12:45 p.m.  Community Engagement Interest Sessions
Community Engagement interest sessions are hosted by several community partners from around the Twin Citites.
1:00 - 2:30 p.m. Smooth(ie) Transitions
Make your transition to the U of M smooth by joining members of the University Transfer Student Board for afternoon smoothies!
2:30 - 4:30 p.m. Explore-U
Interact with over 150 student groups and in which you can get involved, and over 50 vendors with giveaways!
5:30 p.m. Fraternity Recruitment Kickoff
Men are invited to register for Fraternity Recruitment to formally visit all chapter houses and learn more about the Greek community.
5:30 p.m. Sorority Recruitment Info Session
Be sure to register and come out to learn more about sorority life on campus. 
6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Small World Coffee Hour
Get connected to one of the longest running and most popular international student organizations on campus.
9:30 p.m. - 1:00 a.m. Late Night at Mall of America
You will be provided with a free wristband for unlimited rides at Nickelodeon Universe and admission to SeaLife Aquarium. NOTE: This session is open to students living in on-campus housing only.
