Parent Orientation
The Parent Orientation Program is an excellent opportunity for parents to become familiar with the University. Whether you are a parent or guest of a freshman or transfer student, these programs are designed to help answer your questions about University resources and opportunities and find out what to expect the first year. Staff from several campus offices and current students will be available to answer your questions.

@Home in MN
Is your student from out-of-state? Be sure to check out @Home in MN programming throughout the year. This program was developed to help out-of-state students get connected on campus, address their unique needs and learn more about the state of Minnesota’s culture and traditions. Encourage your student to learn more.
Welcome Week Parent Receptions (for parents and guests of new freshmen)
This is a great opportunity to speak with university staff, as well as other parents, while your student moves into the residence halls and/or checks in for Welcome Week. More information will be posted summer 2013.
