Parents and guests of transfer students have the opportunity to participate in a Parent Orientation program, free of charge.
While your student attends their Transfer Orientation, join us for a program for parents and guests. The program provides an overview of University resources and services and helps answer questions that parents might have about life at the University of Minnesota.
Please register in advance to attend this program.
Check in anytime between 8:00 and 8:30 am on the ground floor of Coffman Union. The program schedule is as follows:

The program for parents and guests ends around noon. Please note that lunch is not provided for parents.
If your student has completed the Online Orientation, they can check out following advising and registration. If your student has not completed the Online Orientation, they can check out at 4:00 pm, following the afternoon sessions.
