Dates
Your required on-campus Orientation program will be held between July 21 and August 29, 2008. Transfer students have 2 options in completing the required transfer orientation. For information about these 2 options, please click here.
Check-in for your orientation program is from 8:00-8:40 A.M. on the ground floor of Coffman Memorial Union. For directions, see the link on the left.
Your college will send you information about Orientation later this spring.
Schedule
Your Orientation to the U of M is an introduction to the University, as well as your college or academic program. Designed specifically for you as an entering transfer student, your Orientation will provide you with information and resources to meet your needs.
Students who completed the Online Orientation are welcome to stay for the entire day's event, but may check out after the College Meeting, Advising and Registration session.
Sample Schedule:
8:00 am - Continental Breakfast and Resource Fair
8:45 am - University Welcome
9:15 am - College Meeting, Advising & Registration
Lunch
1:15 pm - Campus Tour (Optional)
2:15 pm - One Stop Student Services
3:00 pm - Mini Workshops
3:45 pm - Check-out
